Back at the Edmonds Condo and this time we’ve moved in for good. Of course, all of our Atlanta possessions have yet to arrive so we kind of feel like we are camping out.
Getting ready to move into our Condo from this AirBnB. We are presently in Ballard, WA and are moving a few miles north to Edmonds.
The T-Mobile Home internet device arrived and has been working well, although I’m a little concerned about speeds for uploading photos to my Flickr account. More on that later.
I am waiting for the delivery of a T-Mobile Home Internet 5G device. It could be arriving anytime between today and Monday.
Seattle Sailing was a fun excursion yesterday and we were happy that there was a breeze. It cleared away the smoke over the Seattle area and also allowed the boat to really sail. A few weeks ago friends did the same excursion but lack of wind meant it was all under motor.
Just because I liked this. In the street close to our Ballard AirBnB.
The drive across country from Atlanta to Seattle took place without any drama although we did get a puncture. Luckily that happened just after we arrived in a Denver and I was able to have the tire patched.
We have moved to Seattle and are about to move into a new Condominium. I’m amazed at how much we’ve been able to get done in last month.
I haven’t been following the news quite as closely as I usually do thanks to all of our moving plans keeping me busy.
We ate at Cafe Lilly in Decatur last night. Our Realtor took us there for a penultimate meal in the city.
I’m happy to report my eye pressure remains at an acceptably low level when I had it tested on Monday at the Ophthamologist.
We finally closed on the house this morning. It’s been an exhausting few weeks getting everything cleaned out and shipped to Seattle. Tomorrow we start our cross country drive to a Pacific North West.
And so we have finished the first season of The Sandman and I think we are both looking forward to seeing where this show is headed. I just read that Season 2 filming has been completed.
The Sandman continues to be enthralling and somewhat intellectually challenging. We got through the notorious episode 5 safely and are now well into the second half of the season.
The last couple of days is one of packing and more packing since we are down to the last two weeks of owning this house. In another month we’ll be transplanted to Seattle
Impossible to open packaging. Truly anti human!
Onto Episode 3 off “The Sandman”.
Sometimes it would be useful to own an SUV. Our Prius just carry certain objects at I found out today.
Wow. The Music Midtown festival in Atlanta has been canceled this year because the organizers aren’t allowed to prohibit guns. The law of unintended consequences is in operation here. Of course, this is going to be a problem for all music festivals in the city that are held on public land.
I’m here at the Gwinnett County Kaiser Permanente lower level parking lot (out of direct sun of course) where I’m waiting for my wife to complete her ophthamologist appointment.
Bill Nye is still fighting the good fight for science literacy.
Quote: “I quit my day job to engage young people in the hope that we could have a better future through science literacy. I’m still fighting that fight.”
Wwe are beginning to make a habit of calling in at The Wheelhouse in N Decatur. We had lunch here yesterday and today we headed over to the restaurant to share a beer and good conversation with some old band friends.
So where is a safe and secure place to live? It’s getting hard to choose.
I’ve just installed the latest version of MarsEdit. This has some Micro.blog specific additional features added. So far it looks good.
Some baby boomers are doing something about Climate Change.
