Scarecrow Video here in Seattle have just made it to 150,000 titles for rent at their store. I was just there today borrowing “Conclave” on Blu-ray and the complete “Ripping Yarns” British comedy which I somehow missed but which has great recommendations from FB friends.
Many, many people were here in Edmonds today for the annual Polar Plunge. Our old Atlanta band would have loved to be involved in something like this but the event did have a local ensemble leading the parade to the beach.
I managed too finish “The Ministry of Time” just a day or two before it’s due date for return to the Edmonds Library. I loved the story and the concept.
We saw Wicked today and all screens at complex suddenly cutoff. For us it happened just about 15 minutes before movie end but theaters rebooted protectors or whatever so we got to see how it all turned out. :)

I was checking Bluesky this morning and I immediately saw an entry giving Bay Area evaluation alerts for a Tsunami. Good to see the site available for early warnings of such events. That was my first indication of this news.
We are continuing to enjoy Man on the Inside on Netflix. Two episodes to go before season end. It’s curious that we are watching this & Monk at same time with both shows set in SFO.
My dentist visit this morning turned out to be good news for my existing crown and also for my wallet. Old crown stays put and I consequently don’t need to spend more money on a new one.
