I managed too finish “The Ministry of Time” just a day or two before it’s due date for return to the Edmonds Library. I loved the story and the concept.

The Marina in Edmonds, WA is colorful for the holidays.

I’m not quite a third of the way into “The Ministry of Time” by Kaliane Bradley. So far, so good. Definitely a refreshing and enjoyable read.

#

We went to the movie to escape a rainy Seattle day.

We saw Wicked today and all screens at complex suddenly cutoff. For us it happened just about 15 minutes before movie end but theaters rebooted protectors or whatever so we got to see how it all turned out. :)

I was checking Bluesky this morning and I immediately saw an entry giving Bay Area evaluation alerts for a Tsunami. Good to see the site available for early warnings of such events. That was my first indication of this news.

Balancing act this afternoonn at Edmonds, WA beach.

We are continuing to enjoy Man on the Inside on Netflix. Two episodes to go before season end. It’s curious that we are watching this & Monk at same time with both shows set in SFO.

My dentist visit this morning turned out to be good news for my existing crown and also for my wallet. Old crown stays put and I consequently don’t need to spend more money on a new one.

Our Condo is having gutters cleaned today. Timing is excellent.

As usual Steven Novella of “The Sceptics Guide to the Universe” fame can be relied upon for a thoughtful article. This time it concerns teen social media ban in Australia.

An excellent article about why we should all be using RSS. I first got interested in this tech back in 2000 and presently use Reeder.

An excellent read for those thinking of joining the Bluesky bandwagon. I should mention that I’m part of the crowd.
